ED and shrinkage issues
About a year ago, I started having a little bit of pain urinating. I went to the doctor and they ran urine tests and other tests and found nothing wrong. Over the next few weeks my testicles and penis in their flaccid state shrunk by a lot. I went to the doctor again and they said it was possible prostatitis but I was unable to get into a urologist for 5 months. Over that time, my scrotum became lifeless and stopped retracting and my erections became non-existent. When I got to the urologist, my prostate was normal size and the tests all came back normal. My testosterone was low normal and he started me on testosterone. He also has tried Viagra and Cialis, but I am still getting almost no activity on its own. I have jump started to make sure it still works and I can get an erection that way, but my scrotum is still lifeless during that period and does not retract up. My flaccid state is still much smaller than it used to be. Does anyone have any idea of what it could be?

You didn't mention your age. In my case similar issues were chalked up as age-related and don't worry about it. However when it comes to my junk down there, don't worry didn't help my ED frustrations.
I opted for a penal implant last March. No more ED, medicare and my insurance paid in full.
My Urologist explained that the implant causes loss of most of the sensation in the penis. Did you find that to be the case?
I did not notice loss off sensation. I am the same size afterward however, flaccid size is much larger. I figured what do I have to lose. Ed had rendered my penis useless even for self sex. Now I can make an erection (partial or full) any time 24/7 and best of all I have my self esteme and confidence back. (priceless)
@mazeppabob
I know someone else on this forum who had an implant.
Are use in injectable drug to get an erection. I was wondering though if you get an implant which would be a lot cheaper than the medicine I use, $30 for each one can you still get spontaneous erections?

Jake. the implant is only cheaper if insurance covers it.
If you have tried pills. pumps, injections etc. and can't tolerate for whatever reason, then insurance should cover the surgery. However don't take my word, check with your insurance. I am sure it is very expensive.
You will no longer get a spontaneous boner or morning wood. Erections are via the tiny pump in your scrotum. The erection will last until you release it.
There is a lot of good info on the web.
Oops, sorry Leonard. I corrected the link. It works now.
Hello:
As it seems to me, the initial description of your perceived symptoms indicate complex disharmony of potentially multiple organ system tissue groups.
In other words, there can be said to be a synergy amongst a varitety of cell types and tissues thereof to create the erection.
Once upon a time, the clinical perspective physical pathology with respect to endocrine system may be out of balance. The secrection of biochemical activity in the process of this also includes structures of the brain. Hormones, in a variety of function, are also instrumental in producing response internally through pathways in the body.
Dietary changes to include mammalian tissue extracts in supplement form may enrich the diet. Hence organ meats taken from bovine can be processed in a variety of fashions. Plant sterols and phytochemicals are aswell a functional factor that can be added to dietary supplementation.
Forms of zinc in the diet are critical for numerous functions throughout the body......etc.
On and on the list may go and efficacy is a production standard limitation in my opinion. Finding bioactive and bio available non- denatured nurients, vitamins, aminoacids, and low caloric/ glycemic index whole foods has had positive effects on human biology with respect to many a learnid mind.
Rekindle the belief in change, and healing is an ever present process too. Best wishes of a new year! May your path be a journey. Take care.
