Been following along for about 6 months from when my first outbreak happened and I was diagnosed. I have tried most of what has been shared. I have been lucky and don't have much of the itch. Just the dots/rash. I have noticed that when I am consistent with cilantro smoothies, drinking lots of water and most recently think that when I drink more alcohol frequently I get more flare ups. I may try to cut alcohol all together for 30-60 days to see if I notice anything. Has anyone experienced or noticed a correlation between alcohol consumption and flare ups?

I am 42 year old male, lots of sun exposure over years. My disease progressively got worse over coarse of 3-4 years. Finally diagnosed in 2022. I have extremely painful flare ups around abdomen and mid back along with total body formication/ sensations. It’s really difficult to deal with. I recently discovered and believe alcohol is directly related to flare ups. I went all of January and February without drinking and the rash/burning/sensations went away almost completely
