Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

HOKA'S with Dr. Schools jell inserts.
My doc has had me on oral b-12 for years. I am a 79 year old female.
Discovered Altra shoes which are totally flat with a wide toe box. No more pains or cramps, I guess because the achilles tendon is not being shortened by shoes with the usual rise?
The Hoka's are great. So much so, that when my Berner ate my husband's Hoka (not destroyed but unusable for walking) a new pair was orderd immediately. At home, I wear smooth socks with my Merrell fur lined "clogs." They are too big barefoot, but the are so soft, they are a respite for my feet from all the textures of the day. (These textures include paws bigger than yor palm, accidently stepping on your feet.) I wear Teva hiking shoes and sneakers daily for my neuropathy. I think that socks are part of the plan to help neuropathy, the socks with the cushy insides, seem to agravate my neuropathy.
My doctor has recommended New Balance shoes. I did take out the inner soles. They were too “spongy”
I have peripheral neuropathy and the only shoes I can wear are Gravity Defyer. My podiatrist even said they were quite substantial and thought they were a good choice. I have PMR pain in one foot when I have a flare. In fact, that was one of my first indications of -PMR. When it is controlled there is no foot pain.
I like Keen shoes, alsoSAS shoes. I'm a BK Amp with profound peripheral neuropathy.
I have neuropathy in my feet and ankles. Painful to walk sometimes. I use Orthofeet shoes. They take the pressure off my feet which helps ease the pain. I have even tried using arch support inserts to help even more although with my flat feet the inserts can be a bit much.
My spine surgeon sent me to orthopedic foot surgeon and he recommended Balance shoes but im not sure which model.
He also said he could do foot surgery, that would help with my limp .
The shoes were New Balance. That’s a brand name, any of their shoes are recommended
