i had terrible pain in my sit bones for a few years and arranged 8"x 15" pillows so that i could sit on my thighs and not my sit bones. just recently, my doctor sent me to his chiropractor for back pain. the chiropractor said (as a dr from mayos had said casually a few years earlier) that i had a twisted sacroiliac. with his treatments, the sciatic nerve actually moved around to the side and off my sit bones. it didn't cure the pain, but moving it off my sit bones has made a huge difference. i can sit and read again

May I ask which treatments your doctor have done for moving the sciatic nerve?
