I use Oasis Tears Plus.
I use a warm eye mask.
I have had my tear ducts plugged. ( More than once because they do not last indefinitely. )
I use Occuvite wipes.
I use eye ointment at night.
If you want to see, you need to do all of these things.
This has been a long road of misery for me. Mine is due to Sjogren's Disease. I now have all four punctal plugs cauterized, which is not a great solution and yet still have dry eye!
I think what helps best is the serum eye drops, made from your own blood, which they spin into eye drops but it must be frozen and then used only 10 days.
Its an ongoing situation that never seems to really improve.
Mine are severe dry eye...
Thanks
Yes, I too have dry eyes, have had entropian botheyes formany years, eye drop at least twice a day, does help alleviate the situation.Make sure there's no preservative in the solution.❤️☃️🙏🏼🇨🇦🎄☃️
I have severe dry and two optic nueritis incidents. The dry eye I treat with serum eye drops and lots of preservative-free eye drops continually. I also have Sjogrens...
I was using Bruder masks like crazy so I treated myself to an electric heated dry eye mask for about $100 at Hammacher Schlemmer. You can set the minutes to auto shut off and adjust the heat from low, medium, medium high, and high. I use the disposable paper eye mask covers, same as I did for the Bruder. Just in case anyone is interested.

I had my tear ducts plugged as well and they didn’t stay . So my Doctor decided to to have the lower ducts cauterized. Didn’t work great for me as I have GVHD in my eyes!! ( look it up). Might work for you though as it is supposedly to help the upper ducts flow better.
I have dry eyes from Sjogren's and my ophomologist has put temporary plugs in my eyes and they work great. He doesn't like the permanent ones as he said sometimes they get infected. I also use Restasis, Systane ultra and Genteal for dry eye. Systane and Genteal are over the counter. He has me wash my eyes with Ocusoft lid scrub a minimum of twice day. Then I rinse them with cosmetic rounds. I almost lost my vision from dry eye and this doc saved it. Dry eye can be dangerous. I was at work and couldn't see out of my left eye. I called the office and they said to put Systane Ultra in my eye every 15 minutes for 2 hours and if my vision didn't come back, I had to be seen by them. It was a Sat. and the doc said he would wait until I called. My vision came back but that scared me. So be vigilant and if your eyes feel sandy or dry use drops. You can use the non preservative over the counter drops too. Take care, Joan

Sjögren’s Disease is challenging. I have had it for over 30 years. I could manage it with preservative-free eyedrops in the daytime and eye ointment at night when I was younger, but now that I am older, managing it takes more time.
Warm compresses are helpful and a humidifier in the bedroom. I do not use serum tears. Sunglasses outside shield my eyes from wind and help my light sensitivity. Dealing with Sjögren’s is time consuming, but, for me, dealing with osteoarthritis is harder and causes more pain.
They are great, however, also somewhat costly.

Do you have joint damage and arthritis issues?
