Is there any information about the drug Medformin and its impact on SLL/CLL treatment?

@mmpopovich, I'm tagging fellow members @zephyr @dougmann @mena2020 who also have SLL (small cell lymphocytic leukemia) and may have information to share about treatment and metformin.

@mmpopovich, have you been diagnosed with diabetes? What treatment are you currently getting for SLL?

I'm early stage CLL/SLL - no treatment, yet . NIH research/write up on Metformin was statistically positive impact. Wonder why is it not being used for CLL/SLL - Non-Hodgkins?

Love to see the details about metformin and CLL. I’ve been on metformin 12 yrs and monitoring CLL for eight.

Thank you. It looks like studies are currently recruiting to further study the use of metformin in the treatment of CLL. For example, this study is ongoing:
