Thanks for your reply. I am frustrated by the lack of attention paid by the medical community to GA. The lesions are unsightly even if benign. Just because the cause is unknown and the condition relatively benign does not mean it should be ignored. After all, the medical community does pay attention to acne,

I totally agree. I have a cousin in Germany that is a Professor and Research Scientist. U know Europe is ahead of many countries and perhaps he will be able to talk it up with other doctors and they know something new. I really don't know what he may know or learn and he is very busy, but who knows. It is a very ugly and I also get chills then the itching attack starts.
