I was working the other day. Reaching down bending at the waist to pick up a sheet of glass. I went down rather fast, and I had pain in my left groin section, like a hernia. It was going from my lower back were the indentations in the buttocks are to the front of my groin , it would not let me stand up staight .I had to work the next two days, and on top had Christmas dinner promised for 6 people, my in laws and son . I had to finish out the week .Now I have some stiffness and Im wondering what I did. Any one have any ideas? Please let me know .
Thanks Martin

Sounds painful, Martin. Have you made an appointment to see your doctor?

I also get intermittent groin pain from spinal stenosis, scoliosis and, I presume, the swollen spleen from MF. I try four options (the body gets immune to just one answer, I find!) I massage my back from just below the ribcage, then the buttock (quite firmly). This can work. Or I will use a vibrating mat; or a hemp oil joint cream, Zipvit, or Anadin Extra (this I find is a wonderful pain reliever. My consultant says it is quite safe.) If I use them all it is guaranteed to get rid of the annoying pain! Hope this helps!

Has anyone experienced this severe pain with Every movement in groin? After X-ray and Cat scan - told I don't need MRI. But, only OXy given, 1 darn week at a time. Oxy makes it a little tolerable. Told to go home nd rest, like I have a choice ? Any Ideas?

I recommend an orthopedic surgeon. My groin pain was a fractured femur. See a doctor immediately. Or go to a clinic and get an xray. It may show what happened.

My groin pain was an SI Joint stretched out of place causing the over use and stretching of ligaments. It was fixed by prolotherapy on the "lax" ligaments. It was tricky to find the answer and took six Dr's including 3 orthopedic surgeons, who believed it was my hip, which just didn't feel right with my pain. Regenerative Medicine was my answer.
