Dizziness related to tachycardia? Should I see a cardiologist?
I have dizziness, my internist blamed my issues with tachycardia, and prescribed a med . attinolol, but that doesn’t sound right. Anyway, I’m wondering if it’s the tachycardia or something else?

I enjoy bike riding, but I got dizzy and fell off my bike, hurt my shoulder. I've lost all motivation to exercise because it makes me dizzy. thank you for your advice.
There are many reasons why you can feel lightheaded, the heart is usually the culprit. Then even if it is the culprit, many issues can cause the heart to not correctly pump enough oxygenated blood to the brain and the body’s organs. Your bike riding is only on temporary hold till your pcp can refer you to the correct specialist. There are medications that can help, different medical divorces can be tried. I have a very expensive loop heart monitor emplaned in my chest and is monitored 24/7 so that my Electrophysiologist, (heart rhythm doctor) can know what electrical issue is my problem. I have a birth defect causing mine.. So your issue could be a simple fix with the proper diagnosis. Good luck
Hi @Erinmfs, I wanted to check in to see how you are doing. How are you doing these days?
Have you been evaluated for POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome)?
