I wasn't told about drops! It was either yag laser or cataract. I had no symptoms either but was afraid of a random event that could lead to blindness at some point. My yag surgery was Nov 14th and I've had pain in either or both eyes almost every other day or so since. I'm going along just fine for a day or so then out of nowhere the light sensitivity starts and I pretty much know it's going to be hours of a day long event. Pain behind the eye/s. Achy, throbbing, sore to the touch, even ear and sinuses become involved... Does anyone else experience being cold? Slight nausea? I know the nausea is one of the symptoms to see the doctor but bring/having type 2 diabetes, this is typical for me due to some of the meds. Anyway, I'm happy and blessed to have had a great Thanksgiving day... Last night and today? Not so good. God bless and prayers!

the comments worries me. I went to get a second opinion and of course they asked for the diagnosis and sure enough they confirmed it's needed and the doc that did the second opinion also scheduled me for the procedure. The sad part is that we have to trust these doctors and we have no idea if they are doing it for money or it is a medical necessity 🙁 God Help us.
