Does your tinnitus get louder during and after exercise or activities?
Has anyone with tinnitus noticed whether it gets louder during and after exercise or other movement such as house or garden work? I find this happens to me even in a quiet environment.

You may already know that Mammalian inner ear hair cells do not have the ability to spontaneously regenerate, so their irreversible damage is the main cause of sensorineural hearing and tinnitus. Frequency Theraputics has attempted clinical trials but hasn't solved the problem (yet). Maybe someday in not too distant future...
Yes, mine seems to be stronger when I go running or do yardwork. Must have something to do with increased circulation in the inner ear I assume.
If they do solve it, but if you've already got a CI in the meantime I suppose they wouldn't be able to help you?
Does anyone have a surge in tinnitus after touching the head in and around the ear in question.? I do and I wonder why I get this effect.
They cannot. They're still in the research stage with no clinical trials as far as I'm aware. There's no promise of any favorable outcome at present despite ongoing studies and possible future clinical trials. Of course Frequency Therapeutics isn't the only research effort in this area -- only one of the more visible ones.
