Pelvic pain
I have severe pelvic pain with urinary complications. It is a long, involved 2 year saga, but now the practitioner I'm currently with is recommending a pudendal nerve block as a therapeutic until I can get a cystoscope under anesthesia. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this procedure for chronic, severe pelvic pain and if you'd be willing to share your experience. Thank you, in advance.

I've had issues for long time. Finally found a therapist who has helped me immensely. I hate that surgery is a first answer for most doctors. If I was you I'd find a good pelvic floor physical therapist and try that first before being cut on. Just my opinion is all. It has only been 2 months of p.t. and I've seen 95% relief of all issues I was having. Major improvement ! Best wishes to you.
