The Power of Hope
There are times, circumstances, life's trials and tribulations that often cause one to lose hope. I know how it feels to feel so hopeless that nothing seems worth it anymore.. It is a horrible state of mind to be in! Then, something or someone comes along and renews that sense of meaning and having faith that this too shall pass. The past year has been very challenging, stressful, depressing and I felt so hopeless.
I am in a different place today and I owe it to my friends at Mayo, family, peers, wonderful doctors and my faith that was surely tested over and over.
How has hope positively impacted your life??
Wishing you all blessed times and renewed HOPE!

I know that my faith and hope with things has been more than tested over these past months. I feel that at times in all our lives that we are faced with challenges that confront us head on. But I do believe that things will turn around and start to look up for us. We are so lucky to have dear friends and need to cherish them each and everyday. Our friends hold us up when at times we feel like we can't fly, and they help us to learn again. Hugs Piglit

Let's just do that Rox you always know who youre true friends are and they appear all the time when you need them the most and that's what makes them all the more special Hugs
we need to enjoy the good moments in our lives and try to be grateful for what we have Hugs
I agree... sometimes we do not realize that there are some that have it so much worse.. It's difficult to see this when we are consumed with our own issues.

Thank You my dear....
My brother has suffered from headaches for the past 1.5 years. He says when he tries to focus on anything (reading, looking at tv/computer, just looking at anything) it causes severe pain. He says the only time he has relief is for about 20 min right after he wakes up.he has seen optometrists, optomologists, neuro optomologists, 3 different neurologists, and a headache specialist. Everyone says his eyes and brain are fine. He has been on multiple medications and nothing has helped. He is struggling as well with hopelessness. Our family has been trying to help, but we have run out of ideas.
