Vibration Plate
Is a vibration plate good for weight loss? I'm seeing mixed results on other websites. Is it worth the investment or am I wasting my money? I need to lose 30-40 lbs. I walk outside when it isn't cold. Thanks for your time and assistance.

Thanks for your time and assistance, Tara. I am now following the weight management section of this website. I renamed it Covid-35, cause that's how many pounds I have gained since the pandemic. My ideal weight is 175-180. I am currently around 210.
I used to manage the bariatric surgical service line at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital in Houston and then also at The Davis Clinic (BIG MEDICINE doctors on A&E).
For patients needing to lose weight without bariatric surgery, we offered a medically supervised program that was highly effective. You might wish to consider that. Tell me more about your previous dieting history. Have you tracked calories before? Visited with a registered dietitian?
I seen a dietician a couple of years ago. I even brought her the menu of meals I eat for a total month (meals on wheels) and she said everything looked good. Well I still eat these meals and if everything was good, I wouldn't be here. I depend on these meals, so I have no choice but to eat them or go hungry. Also my active lifestyle hasn't changed or diminished. As a matter of fact, I use a stationary bike when it's too cold outside to go walking.
My best advice would be to start tracking your calorie intake. This tends to be one of the biggest predictors of weight loss, as you get to continue to eat what is normal for you with greater self-awareness. Some Meals on Wheels items are even in the My Fitness Pal app!
