@airey2 Hi. Thank you for posting. I had a partial hysterectomy 13 years ago. 4 years ago I had to have both my ovaries removed. Last year I started hurting like I have ovaries and cramping especially when it rains. Sometimes the pain radiates to my lower back/leg. Sometimes I experience sharp pain like I’m being cut inside. My doctors have no answers for me. I recently come to conclusion that the pain may be Phantom pain. Glad I’m not going crazy or the only one experiencing this although I hate it for everyone that’s experiencing it. Really don’t know what to do.
Hi, @airey2, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Since you are wondering about some cramping and spotting you are having after a total hysterectomy for endometriosis, I'd like to invite other members who have talked about hysterectomy to share their thoughts about your experiences, like @sunshine9105 @cstuder81 @susu2 @mollygirl @epohyag43 @alphiabranch @gwinter @karenrbach @gingerw.
My colleague @kanaazpereira has also shared some journal studies about chronic post-surgical pain (CPSP) after hysterectomy that may be useful to you:

@airey2 - has your surgeon who performed the hysterectomy weighed in on what might be going on with the pain and spotting you've experienced? If so, did he or she have any information you might share?
