Stem Cell Transplant (autologous)
I have non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. R-CHOP chemo didn't work. Now the plan is RICE / BEAM then stem cell transplant. They will use my own stem cells.
I am optimistic and have tons of faith.
I would like to hear from anyone that has been through this.
Mainly I am worried about the side effects of the RICE chemo...
Thanks in advance
Kevin

What is checkpoint inhibitor Keytruda please. I never heard of that before. I am scheduled to get stem cell transplant end of October.
Google it. You will learn all about it. Keytruda in most cases is only available after a failed stem cell transplant. Are you scheduled for an autologous or allogenic stem cell transplant?
Autologous transplant.
Do you understand that with autologous procedure they may be putting cancer cells back in your body?
