I do have the MTHFR a mutation. I don’t get my B12 level tested that often but when I have, they are quite high. But I also take b12 shots weekly as I don’t absorb enough. I also take methyl folate daily to help. You may need to see a hematologist for diagnosis as many GP don’t know how to run the specific blood tests. I stumbled across this by accident after my sister has a TIA and they discovered she had it and recommended I get tested I have two copies of the mutation. I had multiple miscarriages and fertility issues prior to discovering this

Hi, I just tested for MTHFR, and have mutations. I had B12 high before started B12 injection for half a year. After 3 weeks blank, took a test. B12 went beyond the high limit. Then Folate also went very high. For now I stopped the B12 injection, not knowing what's next. Doctors don't seem to know much. I had severe nerve problems, after the injections, seems it got better, not totally gone. Did you have any neurological symptoms? Now I feel some blood flow issues going on including neck, shoulders, back of my head. Do you have a hematologist, neurologist takes care of you? How are you dealing with this issue? Thank you for your response in advance.
