What can I do for lingering phlegm, congestion?

Posted by rick4404 @rick4404, Aug 4, 2022

I am about three weeks past a bout with COVID-19. My symptoms were largely minor. One thing that's stuck around is persistent mucous/phlegm in the back of my throat. I'm having a hard time coughing it up. What remedies are you folks using that works for you?

@mpeters

I had nasal problems too. Ipratroprium helps me.

Does anyone know when Dr. Poland will appear here next?

ask your doctor about a flutter valve. I am four months post covid/pneumonia and still coughing up green junk. Just saw my pulmonary and he prescribed a flutter valve. you blow into it and it vibrates..and that breaks loose the phlegm in your lungs and causes you to cough it up. people with cystic fibrosis use them.. it's really good. I recommend.
