Absolutely, after trying medical marijuana I was able to get off all my pain meds my clonazepam for anxiety and my sleeping pills marijuana has taken care of all my medical needs I just wish they would make it legal here in Texas but I guarantee Texas will be the last state ever to make it legal!!

Hello. This is a touchy subject for some due to beliefs they have about marijuana. My experiences are hit and miss and likely due to the strains I have tried. I use indica or hybrid-indica because they are night time strains and help induce sleep. The strain names that I find most helpful for CRPS so far are below and can be read about with effects with Google search of strain name and Leafly. I typically use flower but also use the jello-style edibles for maintenance during the work week after work because smoking is not an option due to fear of not being on point the next day for work.

Chemo
Cereal Milk
Tasty Trees
Ken's OG Kush
Rainbow Mints
Superglue

These are strong THC content 25-31%. They pack a wallop, these are one-hit strains to be effective. Depending on your comfort level use what is needed. I typically smoke 4-6 times in a sitting for maximum effect and wake up the next day in better shape pain-wise. Never truly rested due to CRPS but this regiment helps, and for me personally they are used close to bedtime because I want my family to have limited exposure to this way of pain relief. However, smoke, lay in bed and relax works quite well in the dark. Focusing on your body, stretching and having the CRPS pain taper down significantly.

Hoping you are well.

Wishing you the best.

I have idiopathic perepheral neuropathy and use Marijuana for pain. I use Blue Dream, and Sundae Driver during the day and Silver Ghost at night. It definitely reduces my pain where I am functional. I also am taking 1200mg of Gabapentin daily.

Please excuse me for jumping into the middle of this conversation. I’m considering trying to use CBD for my chronic head pain. Problem I have is I don’t know where to start, where do I purchase this so I know it’s coming from a reputable place and is not a fake? How much to I use to start with? A few years my Mayo doctor thought it would be a good plan for me, that’s all the information I got from them.
Thanks to everyone for your information and suggestions.

There is no yes or no answer to this. Everyone will have a different experience. Certainly it helps some people and for sure others get no relief . For me it made the pain worse, pot can heighten different senses and pain is no different. I have tried everything I can in the pot field and nothing helps. That's me , whatever you decided start small ,see what your body and mind says . Best of luck.

I have the same questions. I'm in Wisconsin so experimenting in my own. So far. Delta 8 doesn't touch the pain and just gets me high (which freaked me out and I don't care for it). Tried sublingual CBD drops and nothing.

I live in MN. I see Mayo doctors every 3 months in their pain center. I am currently taking Hydrocodone every 6 hours and Pregabalin 3 times a day for chronic pain. I also get 3 nerve blocks every 3 months.

I envy you because I have serious pain that has escalated to a life threatening level bc it is uncontrolled bc I am allergic to opioids medications. They make me itch badly. And the Caine numbing agents used in injecting (blocks) cause awful longtime painful nerve damage. I would have had an Occipital Radiofrequency procedure done this summer if I didn’t have nerve damage all around that area. And it is a very painful procedure for a mo afterward. Insurance or Medicare won’t pay unless the person had a diagnostic lidocaine injection twice in the neck and if it relieves pain insurance or Medicare will pay.

My heart goes out to you..pain sucks! I am dealing with 3 thoracic compression fractures that gets my pain tolerance really tested most days. I use infrared therapy...a belt for around my back and hips..and I also use a heated wrap from the microwave. These at least calms the pain down so I don't have to take pain meds. I've been a 'toker'...(enjoyably so) for the last 50 years...not a lot..just enough to get me 'comfortable' with what my day would bring. I always use flower and high in THC....without CBD...
Then the CBD craze came along..and along with expensive CBD products of all kinds for all kinds of "what ails,ya"...so I never really got into it. BUT....I've been educating myself regarding the healing and pain benefits from that part of the plant....and I now have more knowledge as to how the CBD part of this 'flower' is ever so helpful in so many ways. I live in a state that has a dispensary on every corner..just about!....so there's always a wide array of 'the kind' as well as all the other forms of the plant. I bought a few of the CBD products in the past, but never felt anything from them at all....That's until now. I'll admit to being drawn into an infomercial by the title...I watched it and ordered their product. I'm not a wealthy person...this wasn't inexpensive..but the story behind the product, how it was conceived as a last resort to treat the daughter of the president of this company..and to see her now is quite an eye opener. I got the product....(from Vermont) opened it at the Post Office and took 1/2 dropper under my tongue. I was in a lot of pain at that moment..having been out shopping and walking. In about a minute...really!...I could feel the pain 'melting' away! That was 3 days ago!!..I haven't thought about taking any more..I'm typing this without the wrenching mid back pains I would normally be in and I feel no need yet to take another dose! To say I'm blown away wouldn't even touch how I feel! I've been staying at a 1 on the 1-10 pain scale..as opposed to where I was..6-8, most of the time. The product comes from a 600 acre organic hemp farm in Vermont...the video is impressive. They cold-press the plant which might be the difference in how our bodies assimilate the drops/gummies...as opposed to other ways that are used. The two bottle deal came with 10 gummies..I haven't tried them yet...
Full disclosure....After sitting writing this, I was starting to get my familier back pains. I got up and took the 1/2 dropper of the 1,000mg. Full Spectrum CBD..sat back down at my desk and as I'm writing this..I have no more back pain!!! WOW!....I'm impressed....now I can think of things I'd like to do today..instead of looking to get out of pain!...I think I gave you all interested enough clues so you can find this company without me naming it. Good Luck!

Good reporting @bunky44. I am very happy for you. To find relief from pain is just wonderful. I am also one who has followed the medical cannabis trail to find relief for my SFN (Small Fiber Neuropathy.). The pain does just kind of melt away or at least dribble away. Good luck to finding a new way of living.

Chris
