Good Morning Ladies,
I have to sleep with a fan blowing in my face year round. Sometimes, I can be at the grocery store and suddenly I become so hot that I feel like undressing. That would clear the store. The hot flashes can be so uncomfortable so I too ask how do we minimize them??

No fans for me, can't tolerate them as they make the fibro skin pain unbearable. When I have a hot flash I actually break out in a drenching sweat, any time of day. I know my zoloft contributes to excess sweating but I am really bad.

I didn't have that choice but i wouldsay when the symptons of pmt are to unbearable go see your dr and have blood test done to check hormoanl levels

i always wear lighter clothing with a jacket that i can throw off when necessary

Much better now after a nap. Let's start this day anew. Hi Ladies, I had a great conversation with mom. She's my love. She told me that she's trying to have a positive attitude re; her pending heart procedure. She had me in stitches when she told me that she was fishing on the island. She said she threw the rod and it became tangled in a tree and couldn't catch a fish. I chuckled when she said that.
Lizzie, the fan, I couldn't live without because for some odd reason it also helps with insomnia or maybe because I get so hot that it cools me down. Whatever the reason, I would have to sleep outdoors, which almost happened but that's another story, because the hot flashes can be intense.
Sorry you cannot get relief from a fan.
