I take 7000 to 10000mg of fish oil daily, 12000 mcg vitB12 sublingual each morning for energy, 5mg melatonin at night to help sleep, and 4 homeopathic magnilife fibromyalgia relief tablets daily. I am back to work and feel a lot better. I still have some pain, but it's not been debilitating lately. 2 yrs ago I was on Savella, Neurontin, and Ultram, but I got off the Rx's and went natural. The Rx's made me want to sleep all the time and didn't work as good.

so you have found that the b12 and fish oil have helped a lot? I have trouble sleeping a lot lately, I have taken valerian root with my melatonin

Yes, all of it. Valerian root works good too. I haven't taken it w/melatonin though, only by itself. I never eat fish, I hate the taste/smell, so maybe I was deficient.
4 yrs ago I was told I had polymyalgia rheumatica. I took prednisone for several yrs, but looking back now, it probably was the fibro. Terrible hip pain.

L Theanine (100mg) taken with Melatonin is also a good combo for a sleep aid.

Hey I suffering big time with the fibromyalgia its so painful how do you all handle it. I stop working and it have made me fail in school. I am not able to plan events

I am so sorry, Eliz... Today is one of those day's I call: "A day when my whole right side is shot down" ...pain from R jaw line down through toes. I end up worrying about the jaw line pain, afraid there will be something major wrong with a tooth and will require a dental proceedure. 🙁 My R neck hurts so bad...and all the trigger points all the way down...The one thing I know I have done that is different...eating WAY too much beginning Sunday (the 13th), far more meat than usual, and far more sweets than usual...and an elevated stress/level starting when I wake up and that usually wears itself away in several hrs... I know I have to keep AWAY from the computer in the mornings...I honestly believe there could be a connection between the severe fibro on the R side and hours of computer use...and I also am facing it is having a 'mental affect' on me, too. So beginning tomorrow AM, no computer until after lunch, and then limiting the amt of time on it. It is embarrassing to admit how addicted I am to the internet.... and I am the only one who can 'break' this addiction and I intend to. (I am not saying it caused the fibro...had that long before I owned a computer) but I believe that lately it HAS made it worse. We are each different in what trips our trigger points, eh? Eliz, I don't take Rx meds, but maybe you might consider it...its whatever works that makes it "Right" for any one of us.
