Hi, Just come across your post from August 2022.
I really sympathise with you and can relate to all that you are experiencing!
Although by this time I hope your symptoms have improved!
My symptoms (same as yours) started after my 3rd Covid Vaccine - I had two Pfizer but the last one was Moderna.
I had a particularly bad session on waking this morning - so much so that I checked my heart via pulse oximeter. I felt the vibrations/inner tremors were making my neck pulse. Heart readings were all good - which is a relief - but this still need a diagnosis as to what is happening to me. It's not painful and subsides about 15/20 minutes after I am up and about in the mornings BUT I would just like some answers!
I am female, 69 years old and fairly active and healthy - other than these internal vibrations.
Got a doctors appointment tomorrow to check out my bloods - just would like a definite answer as to what is going on!
Take care!
I have the same thing
Four years on and off but I do notice when I’m in a deep dream or a dream that’s not so great I wake up I could be anxiety because I do have that. I don’t know. I never talk to a doctor about it.
I have the same thing. I was vaccinated and boosted and had covid before any symptoms started. A few months later, I developed paresthesias and numbness, and then this vibration sensation, at first just a humming, then a vibration in my jaw, during and immediately after sleep. After a lot of testing, I discovered subclinical hypothyroidism and then Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I believe the Hashimoto's was triggered by the vaccine or the virus as well. After starting synthroid, the paresthesias and numbness went away, but the vibrations have stuck around. They occur throughout my body but are concentrated in jaw, neck, and shoulder. Benadryl seems to help somewhat--at least it helps me sleep through the nights when it is really intense. I am worried about the progression of this, but comforted that the sensation goes away during waking life. But I am concerned about the loss of sleep over time, and wondering what the mechanism is at the heart of this.
I can’t believe I found someone that has the same thing . I just woke up from my nap and my tongue, arms and legs were, as usual, vibrating like a buzzing cell phone so I decided to Google it.
My buzzing/vibrating started 12 days after my Covid 19 vaccine AstraZeneca. It was so intense then, it was in my spine and chest area, after a month it stopped but the tongue, arm and leg continue to buzz 3 years later, every time I drift to sleep or wake up, especially from a nap.
Doctors have no idea what I’m talking about.
Unfortunately that’s only one of the many symptoms I have since my vaccine, (chronic burning sensation on my skin all over my body , chronic pain, autonomic dysfunction) I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy and autoimmune disease called Sjögren’s. All the symptoms started around 2 weeks after my vaccine. I had no health issues before.
I have same exact problem, for 2 months now. Did you ever get any resolution? I do not sleep well anymore…

I am 65 yrs old female and taking 50mg Lorasartan for hypertension. I have this exact vibrating sensation that @edornton has described. It only happens when I lay down to sleep. When I sit up, it stops. I have been on PPI, omeprazole for 10 yrs. I started to completely stop 6 mos. ago. Could this be withdrawal symptoms?
