Call your Transplant team immediately. Are you on immune suppression drugs for transplant? Then do NOT take the new Pfizer Paxloid covid drug. Mayo sent out an alert to all transplant patients taking immune suppression meds that this new drug can cause elevated levels of our immune suppression meds. Depending on your health situation, your transplant team may suggest a monoclonal antibodies infusion within the first several days (antibodies have to be administered early to help, Remdesivir may help, etc). Definitely call your transplant team first this morning. Please come back and post what they say and let us know how you are doing!

I'd like to know can you usually call your transplant and talk with them at once? I only can call the hospital and the nurse will transfer to another nurse or other places, then they tell me that they leave a message to the doctor or the nurse. They may respond me when they see it.
