Sativa cannabis will not interfere with depression medication. Indica cannabis may, but I doubt it. I’m on two anti depression meds and it doesn’t to anything to interfere. But it help tremendously for pain and attitude issues.
What’s funny to me (sarcasm) the doctors treating us rarely have a clue what we go through. My neurologist is a specialist in Neuropathy, both Autonomic and Small fiber. She said I will do what I can to help you in any way, but since I’ve never experienced what you’re dealing with I will need you to pain a picture of what you feel and what you are dealing with. Then she said I can help you.
It’s like someone treating you for headaches and they never had one. They are going to recommend the text book treatment, never deviating from the accepted normal practice they learn in school. But go to a Dr who deals with migraines and they will go off the written page to get you the relief you need.
I’m not pushing marijuana, I know the gummy’s help me tremendously. My Neurologist said give it a try, if it helps let me know so I can help my other patients. I do understand the apprehension using any forms of marijuana because I was a police officer. But it help me.
Again I’m not pushing my treatment in anybody. This is a blog to give us different ideas on what May or may not help.
I hope you get some relief!❤️

I don't think smoking helps neuropathy pain but I've never smoked so have no experience. Here's some research on the topic...
"Smoking is a risk factor for neuropathic pain development. In the results of our study, it is seen that the probability of neuropathic pain development increases as smoking duration and addiction level increase. This rate increases even more in the indi- viduals with diabetes diagnosis. Jul 10, 2017"

My son has the same disease as I do and it causes him to have non stop seizures. He does smoke high THC marijuana products like hash, wax…. Some of the THC is in the 80-90% strength.
There is a medication you may want to check with your doctor on. It’s a prescription CBD called Epidiolex. It’s extremely strong and it’s specifically for seizures.

And does anyone know if Benadryl would help neuropathy and GERD?

Is it prescribed cannabis? I have epilepsy, too.
