Have diagnosis with doctor. Epley maneuver standard therapy...worked for my husband..eventually. Can get out of hand and last for awhile. His has tendency to return if he stops using above therapy entirely. Meclizine will help but if in treatment preferred not to use since it deadens part of ear that needs work. Good luck and rule out other diagnoses first.
