Worried about low heart rate and long haul COVID

I had PMR then RA. I also got covid 2x. I Had 2 J& j vaccinations.
Since then I have been experiencing heart rate drops every night while sleeping between 40-50 several times a night? I mentioned it to my cardiologist but he didn't follow up or seem that concerned.
Has anyone else experienced same symptoms. I think I may be a long hauler as my smell is significantly diminished too?

I don't know if you take any blood pressure medications but when I was released from the hospital (I had Covid) they had me on Metoprolol 50mg. At first it was helping me because my resting heart rate was in the 120's. After a month or so my resting heart rate was dipping into the 40's. The Cardiologist reduced me to 25mg. Since then I have weened of it completely.

I’m in my 60s and it just started this year. I had COVID 2nd time in January! Wondered if it caused this.

Good chance it did. Mayo has many blogs to follow that deal with Post Covid Autonomic Dysfunction. I also had Covid and still have issues after six months after being released from the hospital.
