I have had pancreatitis my whole life. I was first hospitalized at 13 years of age with divisum. I have spent more than 2 years (in total) in the hospital from pancreatitis divisum. Once I started (finally) taking creon, very religiously, the madness finally stopped. I do eat very healthy, but I eat plenty of good fats, like olive oil and avocado. I def stay away from anything fried, saturated fat. My veins are totally shot from all of the demerol and phenegran I have had. They can hardly get an IV in now and if they do, it doesn't last 24 hours. We are a select few that most of the world doesn't understand. My dad died of pancreatic cancer. So it is a little scary.
If you are seeing a rheumatologist for rheumatoid arthritis, you might be interested in a discussion group on Connect about that problem. Here is the link, https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/rheumatoid-arthritis-ra-introduce-yourself-and-meet-others/.
It sounds as if you have a good medical team on your side. Having an endocrinologist as well as a rheumatologist is a great combination given the health issues you face.
Take a look at the discussion on RA and feel free to post there as well.
