I am in Europe and my brandnames are Hylan and Vidisic. I find them really helpful although it is obviously not a cure. Just to help the eyes getting in the best shape as possible.

I have had severe dry eyes for about 3 years. Finally, in mid April of 2022 the opthomologist prescribed Restasis. It took 3 weeks to get insurance approval. He said it takes about 3 months for them to work. So far, I have tolerated them well, but eyes are still dry - especially at night. Hoping the next month makes a huge difference!

For the night there are cremes available. In Europe we have Hylo Night and Duratears which work very well.

Yes very helpful. I use 2x day and autologous tears ( made from blood serum) 3x day and OTC tears throughout the day.

Me too, but I'm not positive it's more effective than OTC dry eye meds (especially ones without preservative).

I’m using Restasis twice a day for Sjogrens and at night I apply a warm moist pack to my eyes to encourage the oil glands to lubricate. The warm pack is very relaxing and it makes a difference. I was told the eeatasis is for inflammation.

Hmmmm..I was told Restasis is for dry, irritated eyes and for inflamation....is your moist eye pack one you purchased. I would like to try this as well. Sounds relaxing as well as helpful.

I use Restasis morning and night; but also Systane Preservative Free Eye Drops in single vials. Ordered the Systane from Amazon. The preservative-free keeps my eyes from burning so much. Also, I have started drinking a lot of water daily. I think it helps a lot.
