You asked about Forteo and Tymlos. Perhaps I can help with Tymlos. I did the daily injections for two years. I had no side effects after the first week or so when I was a little dismayed about how to manage the treatment process. I chose Tymlos over Forteo because I was traveling quite a bit at the time and I didn't want to deal with the refrigeration requirement.

At the end of two years.....my DEXA scan showed that in some areas my prior osteoporosis had declined to osteopenia. Other areas had stabilized.

I’m close to finishing up my 2nd and last year on Forteo. No side effects at all. Year one scan showed improvement in most areas; am hopeful for the same in the upcoming DEXA in July. Highly recommend Forteo.
