Just started using my c-pap. My sleep has improved. My events need to reduce. It can be as high has 17 events per hour. Any idea on how I can reduce my events.

Hi @novaeva, Welcome to Connect. That is a great question - how can you reduce the per hour events when using your CPAP. I think we've all been there. I started using a CPAP about 4 years ago and when I started my AHI was averaging between 8 and 10 but sometimes went higher. For me, I think the biggest impact was finding a mask that was fairly comfortable and making sure I got 7 to 8 hours of sleep using the CPAP. My AHI is now normally between .5 - 2.5 and I try not to sleep on my back which makes my numbers higher.

@thankful, @alanbruce and others may also have suggestions to help reduce your events. It's good to hear your sleep has improved. That's the goal. What type of CPAP mask do you use, is it comfortable?
