Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

Posted by redladyjoni @redladyjoni, Nov 26, 2018

I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

Pain everywhere, swelling, numbness & tingling mostly in my legs and feet, extreme fatigue, vision and speech issues, trouble walking and balance is off, constipation and urgency to urinate to the point that I sometimes have accidents. I can't think straight most of the time, trying to type this is difficult. We have a Mayo Clinic here in Wisconsin, it's about three hours north from where I am in Janesville, WI. I have to change my HMO come October in order to see a specialist there.

I know it has been a long time since you posted this but I was just checking to see if you were ever diagnosed? Was it possibly Multiple Sclerosis? Is so did they determine the vibrations were due to the MS?

I just saw my 2nd neurologist who informed me I had undiagnosed fibromyalgia and that my nerves have been hyperactive relaying pain messages and this is the feeling I’m having. My Rheumatologist says I have to see a fibromyalgia specialist. Not sure what to do at this point. Gabapentin doesn’t help. Baclofen helps so I can fall asleep but I often still wake up a few hours later. I did feel for a time this might be diet related but I’m not sure anymore. I’m not sure of anything anymore. Just want an answer. Good luck on your journey.

I’m not a doctor but I have these too. I have had them for a while. I thought they were related to my MS but I am starting to question that. Once again I say I am not a doctor but I do take baclofen but I also take another muscle relaxer called tizanidine. It helps me sleep better than baclofen. If I wake up I take a 2nd dose. As long as it has been 4 hours since my fist dose. I take this medication along with the baclofen but I have MS. You may only need one medication. This is just a suggestion. I hope it helps. Good luck.

I have taken baclofen to help me get to sleep but never tried a 2 nd dose 4 hours later. I do notice now that the weather is warming up my vibrations are not as intense yet never go away. Thanks for your response. I’ll try this as mine does say I can take every 4 as needed.

I am new to this forum and I’m not sure if you are still having the issue, I had a similar situation for two years and it was finally resolved. I realize your post is nine months old I’m just curious if you’re still having the same vibration issue.

The 4th day after my covid vaccine I started with head tremors. They may not be related at all but yesterday, I started feeling internal lower abdomen vibrations/ sensations. I was thinking it was my bladder? Either way, I'm perplexed as to what it might be. Should I be worried?

Are you still having these "tremors?" I'm trying to get a cohort of patients who have had this develop to then connect with and compare notes. I'm a physician and have had issues with this.

Hello , a few weeks after my 2nd covid vaccine, I started having internal vibrations, tingling and more pronounced tremors from head to toe. This last week, I just started having a ringing or buzzing in my ears, that is constant. I have had a lumbar puncture that was normal, except protein was slightly elevated. All my other blood tests were normal. I am also a sufferer of migraines and have had some essential tremors half my life. I'm at a loss on what to do, but I am glad to have found this forum.

Do you still have the tremor? I'm a physician with similar issue that started after the vaccine. Trying to connect the dots...

Yes, I still have the tremors, and feelings of internal vibrations. It kinda feels as if my arms and legs have pins and needles in them, without the pain, as if they were falling asleep almost. I have had a long histiry of some essential tremors, but nothing like this, and this all happened several weeks post vaccine. My neurologist doesnt know what is wrong and wanted to treat my tremors with a low dose phenobarbital to seeif it helps, but I dont like the possible side effects. I want to know what is causing my issue. Could it have been my covid vaccine, that worsened my tremors? They were nothing like this before.

How did they diagnose your lyme disease? I had been bitten by a tick 2 times in the last year also and had a negative test for lyme disease.
