Grover's Disease: What works to help find relief?
I have been diagnosed with Grover's disease under my breasts. I had a biopsy for diagnosis. Tried topical ointment with no really good results. Any ideas?

I believe I shared this on the forum here before, but I thought it couldn't hurt to share it again for anyone who hasn't seen my post: XELJANZ. This is the medication that my mom has been on and it has helped her SO much, I can't even begin to tell you. About three years ago, when she started having that terrible itching everywhere, we had no clue what was causing it and doctors were not very helpful either. No one could really figure it out and we were almost beginning to grow worried that my mom may die of whatever this horrible disease was. Then finally, Dr. Brook Brouha came along (San Diego, CA) and literally saved my mom's life by recommending this powerful, specialized medication. I thank God every day, because my mom is my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without her, and I hated seeing her suffer the way she was without any solution or idea of what was happening. So for anyone else who's dealing with this same agony, please try seeking out Xeljanz and/or Dr. Brouha (or a specialist like him who understands the disease). This is my strong recommendation. Sending everyone here best wishes and prayers!
I developed eczema for the first time. It happened 6 weeks after my Moderna booster. Has this happened to anyone else? With Covid cases rising, I would like to get the 2nd booster, but afraid it will make my eczema worse.
Are you sure it's not Grovers disease? A number of us developed it after the Shingles shot. Good luck with whatever it is. Have you seen a dermatologist?
Yes, I've seen a dermatologist. It's Grover's Disease.
Sorry to hear that. I advise you to start reading some of the previous blogs on this site. There is a lot of knowledge in the site that most doctors don't know or won't give you, the most important of which is the use of cilantro to mitigate the itching.
Here's my hammock in my bedroom. So comfortable!
Some time back someone reported that a leading Dermatologist based in the USA emphatically stated that Shinglex vaccine was responsible for Grovers disease I believe this as my GD only arrived after receiving the vacs Why hasn't the manufacture of this been investigated ??
I called the Shingrix hotline twice and told them I was pretty sure that the vaccine caused my Grovers. The first time the response was they could find no link between the vaccine and itching. The second time the woman on the other end did show a bit of compassion and said she would pass it on to the "powers that be". So much for that. Now they advertise the vaccine on tv. No mention of Grovers, of course.
As expected I live in New Zealand and yesterday I made a full complaint about this to Medsafe the agency that protects us from this sort of thing!!
anxiously awaiting their reply
Good luck. I'm dying to come to N.Z. Been to Oz often. Your Derm was spot on.
