My stomach makes me look pregnant.
I have been having problems with my stomach for quite a while now.
My stomach is always round and bloated ,as if i am pregnant.
I have pain most days and have severe cramps and vaginal muscle cramps/contractions during my period. I also bleed a lot.
I eat healthy, take multivitamins and drink water and no sodas or fruit drinks just fruits and veggies. I know most people have flatter stomachs even those who don't eat as well as me.
I have done research and have come to some conclusions that could fit. I think i might have a uterine fibroid or cyst, something that is making my stomach big.
I also have ugly stretchmarks even though i have never been pregnant and am not pregnant, but at times it looks like it.
If anyone has anything similar or knows anything,i would really appreciate the feedback.

Hi, @axels - the Aortic Aneurysms group https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/aneurysms/
Did you ever consider a fatty liver
I am of normal weight.. But always suffered from stomach pain and I looked like I was 9 months pregnant with skinny legs. and I was diagnosed with a fatty liver and cirrhosis.. I was in this discussion group because I was hoping that somebody had advice how to lose some of this stomach fat
Please see a gastro intestinal doctor. If you have a problem with your liver, you can have fluid build up in your abdomen. It is called ascites.
Hi, @vette241 - since you mentioned fatty liver, you may be interested in this thread on Connect where others have discussed this topic https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/liver-biopsy/

Hi, @firstlady, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I can imagine it would be quite frustrating to feel that you look pregnant when you are not.
Hoping that members like @gaybinator @vette241@axels @nadia83 @creeknation may have some thoughts for you.
Have you had an opportunity to connect with your doctor to have them weigh in on your situation? If so, what did he or she think?
Hi all.
I was wondering if someone could give me some advice? I've been sitting with a problem with my stomach where it's getting bigger and bigger. I'm usually very active and although I know I've got IBS it has never looked like this before. Usually with IBS my stomach would go back down but at the moment it's not going down and has not been going down for about a month or more now. I also have constant heartburn and pain in my upper chest. My mother did ask if I'm not pregnant, and I told her that I dont think it's possible due to the fact that I've been on the 2month birth control injection for a couple of years now. Does anyone have some advice for me please?
Hi @charmone and welcome to Connect. That must be very annoying to have your stomach continue to get bigger and bigger making you look pregnant when you're not.
I wanted to introduce you to @gaybinator @vette241 @nadia83 and @firstlady as they may have some thoughts for you.
Back to you @charmone have you been able to ask your doctor about this yet?
Hi @Ethanethanmcconkey , thank you for your response. Unfortunately I do not have the finances at the moment to go see a doctor. My mother however has asked me if it might not be gall stones or stomach sores.
