@mikaylar

Headache Center has a protocol and they have tried it all. Nothing works. I don't know how to "control" something that is always there. It's not like I can catch it before it starts.

No, you can't catch it. Do you feel it if you wake up from sleeping? What have you been trying to help lower the pain level

I do not get such discounts for my migraine medication, but it is still much better…about $140 instead of $500. I use frovatriptan for a rescue medication..

I tried that but Medicare won't allow it. Or if you have Medicare do you not list it?

I am running into the same problem with Medicare. So far, I have been told that Medicare withholds approval until the medication is on the formulary and they have completed their federal grant promotional program.

I just took the printed out coupon and my pharmacy took it. I have twice. My med insurance is not through Medicare. I have been going there to the same pharmacy for 20 years .

Yes, I also use a triptan. They aren't at the top tiers though.

In reply to @merpreb…. I’m very glad you are able to take other triptans. It took me 3 appeals to just get mine covered and then they refused to allow a tier reduction. Hopefully, I will find a better pt.d plan next year as this company was willing to pay for my medication at tier 1 last year.
