Two years and counting and drs still can't tell me whats causing my tailbone to hurt upon sitting or lying on my back. Pillows of all kinds have not helped. The last diagnosis I got was that since I loss weight I may have lost cushion around the bone (ha) Xrays and MRIs have been inconclusive. Still hurting!
