@jfn

I had cold laser therapy and it helped immensely, 2x week for 4 weeks is recommended. Hope what you choose works!
Will explain more of what I do if you would like.

I would like to know more too. What type of neuropathy were you being treated for? Thank you for sharing.

kbirchem, like you I have such cold feet from Neuropathy and I am very interested in your experience with the cold laser therapy. I don’t know how to get my email address to you so maybe the volunteers at Connect could get us together. I read Connect daily and so much appreciate everyone’s sharing. Wishing you warm toes, Bcool

Having gone through nerve testing before, and not wanting to do that again, my neurologist's diagnosis was PN. That doctor prescribed Metanx, I have used the cold laser treatment, I am also on Ivig treatment (right now, for something else.) With regards to the neuropathy, the level of nerve induced pain is about 5% of last year at this time. If you want to message me, I am here for another 5 hours.

@crisis1152 - I don't think Mayo Clinic uses the Multiwave Locked System (MLS) laser therapy. I've seen ads for it but I'm a little skeptical. All of the advertising says it is FDA "cleared" not approved so that's kind of a red flag for me but it's just my opinion and I've never needed or tried it. From what I've read, it's expensive, requires multiple/ongoing treatments and is not covered by insurance.

Here is a Mayo Clinic patient experience with the Calmare (scrambler) therapy and information on the device itself.
