I have a BRCA mutation. I’m out of town now so I don’t have the clinical trial information. I did write about it somewhere in this conversation! It’s hard to find though!!

Is this the trial you'll be on?
- A Study to Test Adding Pembrolizumab to Olaparib Alone as Therapy for Patients with Pancreatic Cancer That Has Spread with Inherited BRCA Mutations https://www.mayo.edu/research/clinical-trials/cls-20522522

That is not the one. A Study to Evaluate Niraparib and TSR-042 in Patients with Germline or Somatic BRCA1/2 and PALB2-related Pancreatic Cancer Is what I’ll be doing.

I’ll be interested to learn more about your experience with this protocol and with being on a clinical trial.
Thanks, Nae.

My brother is about 35 kilos overweight his doctor said it is dangerous to do surgery with his current wight I don’t know what we can do.I’m trying to consult another dr.
I advise a second opinion. I wasn't told to lose weight either (was in fact instructed not to) and from what I hear most doctors don't because of what you're likely to lose in recovery
Your statement was encouraging for me as I had Stage !A and had a whipple four months ago and first market CA19-9 came back at 13.20 and I elected to not do chemo. Good for you as it has been a long time now. Jack
God bless both of you 🙏🏻

I can’t be sure if that’s the one or not. I’ll get back to you later in the week.
