I'm a cat person too. Don't have any now. I got my cat a leukemia vaccination years ago, back when the shot was in the abdomen. She got cancer from it. We took her to the Bay area for surgery and radiation. She died though. I can't handle pets dying so I don't have any now. I just enjoy my friend's pets. What is your kitties name Ginger?

When I was in college, I thought that everything was funny, in an absurdist way. Now that I am 60, I don't find anything funny. At night, I tell my wife, "Let's watch a movie, but I only want to watch comedies." But there are actually not that many comedies produced by Hollywood. When I was younger, I did open-mic stand-up in restaurants and nightclubs. So, if Hollywood can't produce enough comedies that are truly funny, I'm going to have to create my own.
I'll put the first one on YouTube soon. I can't guarantee that it will make anyone, including myself, laugh. But it will be completely absurdist, that's for sure!

Hi @sofaramnotdead - I'm with you on most of today's so called comedy shows...not very funny. I like the old Dean Martin comedy routines with Foster Brooks. They would always bring out a good laugh. Easy to find and watch, just do a Google search for Dean Martin comedy on YouTube. The Foster Brooks routine is right on top.

So true, @sofaramnotdead. Comedies are not what they used to be. I will often go to YouTube and watch an old Jack Benny show, he knew how to be funny without even trying. Here's to a smile, laugh or grin for the day😊

Lots of good clean humor on YouTube. What’s My Line is one of my favorites. Back when the sets were simple and not a bunch of glitter. A time when folks spoke proper grammar and were polite. Call me old fashioned and I am not an old hippy. Stereotyping one because of age is shallow. There I go on my soapbox and going off topic. Humor has pulled me out more than once. 🤪

Me too, @parus. My growing up was rather chaotic and I remember having a passion for I Love Lucy shows and similar ones. They were just hilarious and gave me a break from the real world I was living in.
