Today I had a terrible panic attack. Mine are few hrs long with a racing heart and trembling. After the radiation I had 3 attacks and all 3 they were different that what I was used to . Few weeks ago while in treatment I had 2 shots of epidural with steroids due to a car accident back in December. After the shots both in the same day , I had a toxic reaction. My heart went 150 beats / minute , my head was spinning and my face was red red red . Do you remember the tomatoes festival in Spain , when people are fighting by throwing ripe tomatoes to each other. That’s how my face looked like . Does anyone has increased anxiety after the radiation treatment? Is it fair to say it’s a side effect of the treatment? Thank you

Bogie, whether a side effect of radiation or cancer itself, have you considered seeking professional advice to help manage the panic attacks?
