I have this too - I have been living in lamplight for the last 3 months. Can't drive at night. For me, getting color changing bulbs was a game-changer (I have Phillips Hue but there are many). Blue and purple light is best for me. Haven't had my eyes examined but I imagine nothing is "wrong" with them.
Glad to connect with a fellow graduate! I had a lot of great takeaway’s. Some of the biggest were just understanding CSS, and the importance of staying in good physical health and moderation. I would say I handle stress better, and my depression has decreased. Still working my first 2 week plan, but really feel the tools will give me a better quality of life. Definitely life changing.
@lynnryan Hello there. I'm checking in to see how you are doing with managing your symptoms since PRC, now 2 months out? Do you find scheduling your days helps?
Post Covid vaccine issues
. I developed severe sensitivity to light. Pain went from temple to temple at pain level 10. I had some mild light sensitivity prior to vaccine. It was mild and east to deal with, very little pain. It started about 5 weeks after the shot. I’ve gone through every neurological test the VA has. Today I was told by the neurologist there is no thing they can do. They told me I do not have any neurological problem, it’s all mental and to see a shrink. Her audacity was incredible. The pain I was experiencing transformed into NES’s that lasted from a minute to over 4 hours. They went from mild yo severe. Every muscle is activated, I can’t talk and only shallow breathing until I force deep breathing. Again since they can not test it and get a documented disease it’s all mental.
Not only is this from light but also sound, same bodily reaction. The auditory started about 2 weeks before the optical nerve.
One final note. I wear a sleep mask to reduce the light and I was still seeing light. Mt facial / shill bones let the light come through and trigger my episode. That is how sensitive the optic nerve is. Yet it’s still a mental issue.
My favorite brand is peepers. They come in many styles. Reader sunglasses were my favorite. No I use there bifocal sunglasses.
Great tips on using different color light (@snakexeyes) and glasses (@jennifergillan03).
Snakexeyes, do you intend to get your eyes checked out?
