Hi @diane69 I don’t know the ingredients of the keto pills but your best bet would be to ask your cardiologist or physician who performed your heart ablation. They would be better qualified to answer your concerns. As for the keto diet, you will be consuming mostly fat and very little carbohydrates. Your body will be switching from burning carbohydrates to burning fats for fuel. Always consult your doctor for any changes in diet or exercise. Wish you well.
@diane69, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @avmcbellar and others. Also, I would also recommend that you discuss the keto pills with your doctor or care team before using them. Connect members are patients like yourself and really cannot give medical advice. We can share our experience with them though so may others who have experience can share with you.
I would like to add to everyone elses' comments. Keto pills are not recommended for anyone with heart disease, and in general a Keto diet may not be wise for anyone with heart disease due to the additional cholesterol ingested. All the cardiology journals which address the diet say it should only be undertaken in consultation with a cardiologist who will monitor your bloodwork.

Thank you for your reply.
In addition to checking with a doctor, I'd caution you about where you're buying the keto pills and to know exactly what's in them. I'd never buy supplements through ads on tv, magazines or the internet. So many functional medicine practitioners, many of whom promote the keto diet, such as Dr. Berg, Dr.Boz, Dr. Will Cole, and Dr. Mark Hyman, sell supplements. I would have more faith in them than I would from supplements from the drug store, vitamin shop, or Amazon. In addition, I'd do a google search to read reviews about the specific pills you're thinking about. If people have had adverse reactions or they have been shown to be dangerous or ineffective, there will most likely be something about that. I'd also check where they were made and if they were made from certified organic products.
Are they dangerous? How do they affect NAFL in someone over 70?
Welcome BHoffner. You asked about the safely of keto pills. I moved your message to this existing discussion about keto pills where other members caution about their use. Before taking any supplements, it is best to talk to your doctor and/or a professional dietician, especially since you have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Here's an article about keto and NAFLD that may be of interest.

Do you follow a low carb, healthy fat diet?
Are these pills safe & do they help with weight loss???
@saylor1750, From what little I've read I don't think they help much for weight loss. A Keto diet would be much more effective for weight loss. Here's a couple of versions of the same article that talks about the pills.
