I have been dealing with an orange tongue for a year. As has been done with everyone else, cultures and blood work have been done. I have been treated with several different azoles and nystatin (8 weeks), the last azole 200mg for thee weeks and the stuff is still happy. My tongue changes to bright green and also to a cottage cheese like surface. I am now on 10 days of a tablet, my tongue is white but I do not taste what I would describe as a combination of rotten eggs visited by Pepe le Pue. The last culture was taken to regrow the stuff and find something to kill it! I understand that is finding a sensitivity, I just want it dead and gone! Any ideas are welcome.

I was on antibiotics for two years, I have NHL with hypogammaglobulinemia with at one time a "wee" bit of an iron deficiency, I like challenges, this one, not so much.

Hi jfn, I'm wondering if you read @heatherme's post above. She seems to have found success with penicillin treatment. Has that been suggested for you?

You mention that you also have non-Hodgkin-lymphoma (NHL). You may wish to also join the Blood Cancers & Disorders group https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/blood-cancers-disorders/

Might the orange tongue be related to cancer treatments?
