Interaction of CBD with meds or health conditions is not totally theoretical.
CBD can cause blood sugar to rise, even when one is using meds. (Maybe not for everyone, but we have observed it in my husband and a friend.) And it can and does interfere with coumadin (warfarin) by increasing concentration in the blood. These are just 2 examples.
There are a number of studies - the best advice is to consult your provider(s) and to research the interplay between both CBD and THC and any medication you use or medical condition you have. Also, topical applications of CBD are generally thought to be safer because less is absorbed into the bloodstream.

2 ReactionsBeing funny, maybe it's the THC and the munchies causing increased blood sugar. LOL

3 Reactions@betterwy, @sueinmn and all...Hello, a couple of thoughts about your suggestions, Sue. I have an AARP supplement that last Jan began covering the cost of membership with a gym or YMCA or whatever. I joined the Y next to the rehab PT I visit and use the recumbent stepper and some classes. It's going strong now. In Florida, our covid rate is low and we have a governor who doesn't like mandates and has been very proactive re the vaccination programs and antibodies treatment and such. We're an open state, so our gyms and such facilities have been open for quite a while I am a regular visitor, was....prior to multiple infections and health issues, I had PT in the therapy pool, 94 degrees, and an excellent solution to my overall pain issues 2x weekly works wonders
1-hour sessions. I do what my body allows and will add the stepper if I have the energy. I/m close to beginning this PT again.
This Y membership is free to me. You may have the same availability. I called personally to ask and got the skinny. Then, just go to whatever facility to do whatever kind of exercise you prefer. I do suggest for somebody/joint/muscle pain, the therapy pool is excellent.
I'm new to this group but appreciate all the comments. I'm going to try the P&B balm and and CBD drops. I exercise regularly both walking and reformer pilates. I do need to get back on a more healthy diet though. What I've been doing is not working and I want to avoid more medications, treatments, or surgery. My issues are bursitis and osteoarthritis. Thanks.
I use CBD as does my wife daily. Mine is for undiagnosable neurological muscular pain, hers is for severe arthritis. We buy hemp and make our own CBD by using a Magic Butter Machine. Cook it at 113 the lowest temperature for one hour and then 8 hours with no neat.
Then we put the tincture in a 1 ml capsule. My wife takes 1 twice a day, I take 4-6 before bed.

1 ReactionYou should be able to buy online a CBD product that is “full spectrum” which means it contains less than 0.3% of THC which meets the federal government guidelines for legal. Since MM is not legal in your state this might be more beneficial. I did a Google search and much higher strength products are available online other than CW.

1 ReactionHi thanks for the reply I live in NJ and marijuana is legal here in our state. And can you please tell me what CW means,
Charlottes Webb is a big online seller of CBD. But since you live in NJ (I’m in Pa) get your CBD from a dispensary. This way you can be assured the contents have been tested as pure. I’m not certain what growers or products you have in NJ. I use Ilera Health tinctures mostly. There Ease tincture is 10:1 CBD:THC and many varieties available too of different combo’s 1:1, 5:1, etc.

2 ReactionsHmm I tried Marijuana not medical but at 73 who cares. Over rated for sure nothing , no relief. Big pharmaceutical making a mint over this. CBD works as well. I am going to try a warmer dryer climate for a month to see if there is any reliefs.
What might help one may not help another. I do know for myself it helps relax the muscles in my spine. I go to a pain specialist, I'm in the process of weening myself off of my hydrocodone with supervision. Once I am off of the medication, I will get a prescription for medical Marijuana. My doctor tells me the two don't mix. That's a shame because the Marijuana isn't covered by insurance but the hydrocodone is. I would like to have edibles 5 to 10 days per month with the rest of the days on hydrocodone.
