Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?
I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

Hello @shelovestory, Welcome to Connect. So sorry to hear you haven't found any answers or help even though you have seen a lot of different doctors and had many tests. @ahannah2021, @asquires and others may have some suggestions or information that has helped them. @khc shared that eliminating gluten and lactose helped. I found an article on the gluten connection that might be helpful for you and other members with questions.

Have you been diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity or celiac disease?
Well thank you john, I actually don't know if I have glutten sensitivity/celiac disease, because I tendt to eat almost anything, I eat rice almost everyday, biscuits, cheese, bread, milk, chocolate, I eat meat, fish, chicken, seafood. I eat varieties of foods and don't have any alergies (thank God for it). I don't find alergies with most medicine I taken.
I stressed a lot because of this, and now my eyes ache and inflammed, I will go to eyes doctor today. Hopefully there's nothing serious.
I feel hopeless because some internist & neuro doctor said this is Psychosomatic syndrom. T_T
Just seeing eyes doctor, my right eyes pressure 28 and left is 18, doctor diagnosed as glucoma suspect and give me cendo glaopen, tim opthal 0.5%, and cendo Vitrolenta. Next 2 weeks she wants me to check up again whether the eye pressure put to normal or not.
She said my vision were shaking-like because i am under so much stress and make it worst. She want sme to relax and so does the internal vibration caused.
In June, August, and September of this year, I had 3 mild strokes. After the first one, I started having internal vibrations. It feels like my whole upper body is violently shaking but there is no visible shaking. It usually only happens upon waking up, and at first, it was only every once in a while. Lately, it's been happening more often, I've woken up to these vibrations 5 times in the last week, and it happened twice last night. I've mentioned it to the doctors/nurses while I've been in the hospital, but no one has any answers as to why this is happening. I keep forgetting to bring it up to my neurologist, but will be doing that at my next appointment.
Does anyone have any tips on how to at least slow them down...not have them as often?
You can try accupunture treatment, it helps a lot, I've done 5times accupuncture and my pain on my body gone. Also for mild strokes people, i've seen lots of improvement to improve blood circulation helps to walking and do body movement again, evne pain and vibration like. May you get well soon.
And check your potassium level, spasm maybe caused by low level potassium. And check with your neurologist if you have B deficiency or not.
Hi. I too have internal vibrations sometimes since I had a viral illness over the summer. I'm pretty sure I have benign fasciculation syndrome, and the vibrations/buzzing sensation goes along with that. It's definitely worse when I am under stress. One thing that helps calm my nervous system if lorazepam. I only take it if I'm having a particularly bad day, but it definitely does seem to help.
Hi, sorry to hear your illness. I thought this internal vibration is because we endure too much stress, my doctor said its psychosomatic. But I don't experience any head pain which caused by lots of stress. When I working, I kind of forgot the vibration.
Hello, I am new to connect but trying to join this conversation about internal vibrations. Do I have it?
OK. looks like i am in 🙂 I'm confused and concerned about all the different kinds of answers/responses. Sounds like people have received dx for anything from psychiatric to MS for the vibrations. I myself have received a vague answer "integrity of my spine" as an explanation but it doesn't make sense so I am hoping to get more info from that Dr. I also have problems urinating-difficulty, urgency and lately some incontinence. I have had some spine surgery and am intra dural lipoma at t11-t12 that a surgeon tried to remove in 2007 but was unable to.
Hello Joni, I"m wondering if the the Doxy, Gabapentin or Valium ever worked to reduce/stop the vibrations? Also any other sx's of Lyme? Thanks
