Chapel/religious services at Jacksonville clinic

Posted by CarynS @caryns, Oct 19, 2021

Going in for surgery next month and will be in hospital approximately 8-10 days. I've been hunting around on the site for a while now and can't seem to find anything on this. Though Rochester seems to have a wealth of information on chapels and religious services and chaplains, I see nothing as relates to the Jacksonville clinic. Anyone know who I could ask about this? Seems odd I wouldn't at least be able to have a priest visit me in Florida.

Update: just called the chaplaincy at Mayo Jacksonville - they do have services in their chapel. I was able to determine that they have Catholic Mass on Wednesday and Sunday at noon. There are also non-denominational services, I regret I didn't ask times for those. There are also chaplains that can visit in your room, just ask your nurse. There is a regular Catholic priest of the diocese and one on call on the days he isn't there.

Also services are televised so if you are unable to go to the chapel you can watch.

The woman on the phone was very helpful so feel free to contact her if there are any questions.

Thanks to everyone who gave me info on this!
