Hi @1710dave,
Interesting question.
@helennicola, @sunnyflower, @artist01, and @jakedduck1 I know you have had discussion of turmeric in the past. Perhaps you can share your experiences with @1710dave
Dave, what did the foundation list as the benefits of taking turmeric?
I’ve never taken tumeric so I can’t help.
@1710dave
I haven't followed many alternative seizure treatments but I understand why they are often preferable.
I knew a man in Canada who controlled his seizures with a combination of B vitamins. I also knew of a few people who decreased their seizures by using biofeedback.
Although I wouldn’t recommend experimenting on your own with alternative treatments sometimes doctors don’t give patients any other choice since many are very resistant two treatments other than anti-convulsant therapy.
Good luck if you choose to go forward with Tumeric for your seizure control. I wish I could be more helpful.

@amandaburnett and @1710dave. Regarding the conversation on Turmeric, when I researched it online, I learned that it wasn't advised for people with low blood pressure. I'm one of those whose blood pressure drops 30 to 50 points on the sit/stand test so my doctor said it wasn't advisable for me to take it. I searched "Turmeric side effects" on Google. Hope this info helps @dave1710.
Warm regards, Laurie
