How long do you have to stop drinking before taking the naltrexone injection?

The goal of Naltrexone is to help you abstain from alcohol. Naltrexone is different then Disulfiram (Antabuse) that would make your sick if taken with alcohol.

If you should be drinking before or while taking Naltrexone is a a question for your provider. Be honest with provider about ANY substance you are taking because of possible interaction with drugs used in treatment.

If you have been taking kratom, can you have the naltrexone injection with no side effects?
