What's outside of your picture window today?

As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?

For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

A few more autumn views to share. This was the last hurrah of a couple days ago. After that the weather changed with rain and wind. Mother Nature put on quite a show though.

@loribmt Beautiful. The last one reminds me of the road into the place we owned on a lake until this year when my husband gave it to his son.

Of course my favorite fall picture is my Connect picture that my brother took in the White Mountains of NH. I love this picture.

@loribmt Beautiful. The last one reminds me of the road into the place we owned on a lake until this year when my husband gave it to his son.

Of course my favorite fall picture is my Connect picture that my brother took in the White Mountains of NH. I love this picture.

Oh My Gosh!!! That is absolutely stunning! Can you believe the rainbow of colors!?! The perspective of the landscaping creates it’s own painting of color and texture too! Wow, your brother had to be giddy at the sight!! Did he have this blown up and framed?

So colorful and nice little hill in the background. Do you know how high it is? You guys have so much color back there. Things are still green here. I read it was the cold weather that makes things so colorful so if that’s true things will never be colorful out here.

WOW!!!
Sure looks different than California. Wish we had your storm. Our reservoirs are so low if not dried up completely.
Yesterday they shut down the hydroelectric plant for the tallest dam in the US for the first time since it was built (1967)
The reservoir is at 25% and no rain in sight.

@loribmt. He didn’t have it in his own home. He retired from being a physicist to being a professional photographer.

At one point on Facebook, Mayo used that picture that they took from my profile! I had to tell them if they wanted to use it they would need to at least give him credit so they took it down.

Little things discovered on my walk today. An old tree stump with a cool ‘hairdo’, Wintergreen berries, mushrooms that look like a brain, Doll’s eyes~sounds more fun than white baneberry, and a few leaves scattered. @artist01 @ess77 No ducks today @jakedduck1, sadly it’s duck hunting season so I hope they’re fly far away from here!!

🦆duckies 🦆. I hope they are far away too and safe from the hunters. I don’t understand how anyone can shoot a beautiful duck let alone eat one. SHAME ON YOU FL MARY!!!! I can overlook only so much.
But I'm expecting some duck pictures as soon as it's safe. Still no package. Getting anxious. I went to the candy store today. I got 250 regular size candy bars but Monday they think the smaller things will be in.
HOPE NO TRICK-OR-TREATERS SHOW UP.
Better go, I don’t want to miss the delivery man!!!!!

Yep, Thursday by 7:00 pm.
Doesn't tell me exactly where it is but tomorrow I'll be parked in my chair in front of the window or in the kitchen (heaven forbid) or dining room where I can see the street. Thursday is going to be a glorious day indeed.
