I use Utiva cranberry supplements. Utiva Maintenance for Control. Each capsule has 36 PAC's per capsule. You can buy it on Amazon where you can also read the reviews. I use 1 Utiva capsule twice per day along with 500 mg Vitamin C and 1 gram of Methenamine Mandelate. Methenamine is an anti-infective (not an antibiotic) which does not become resistant. This regimen works very well and was recommended by Mayo.

To all interested: I admit, bladder infections are awful! Several questions to ask yourself: a) do you get enough water during the day, b) do you complete the antibiotic cycle. The infection isn’t really gone until all the medication is gone, c) are you very careful when you clean yourself, both when you shower and when you use the toilet, d) do you use laundry detergent with fragrance. The fragrance can irritate, thus setting up a good spot for bacteria, e) has your partner been checked for infection. they can easily carry infection but not be symptomatic. They can pass the infection multiple times, f) are you careful to drink water before and after sex, to make sure you rinse your system. It’s also good to urinate after sex. Lots to think about!
Will you let me know if any of this is helpful?

I have taken cranberry supplememnts but found drinking pure unsweetened cranberry juice to be excellent in keeping them away. I drink a tablespoon in my water or in a sparkling water daily. So far have gone 6 mmonths without one- a big deal for me. Also when I feel slightly irritated there it seems to sooth it as well. Here is what i buy. Dynamic Health Pure Cranberry, Unsweetened, 100% Juice Concentrate | 8oz
