Grover's Disease: What works to help find relief?

Do to laziness and a seeming overcoming of the effects of gd, as well as just being plain tired of drinking those smoothies religiously for three years, I gave the cilantro oil a try. It seemed to work. The smoothies never eliminated my itching but kept it at a minimum and it didn't get any worse with the oil. I then ran out of oil and the itching increased. I finally got my delivery of the oil and now the itching seems to have lessened. This may all be a fantasy or the placebo effect, or just my imagination, but the oil appears to be effective for me. I will keep using it for the foreseeable future and report back after a couple of months.

I'm glad you're posting about using Cilantro Oil instead of fresh or frozen. We have had little input about the benefits of the oil. Yes it is easier. You definitely gave the fresh a try drinking them for 3 years.
For those of us that go into remission or notice less severity in our symptom's it usually happens within 3 months. The reason that drinking the cilantro for 3 years didn't help you is because you may be the 50% that don't benefit it. So sorry, yet keep searching. Are you on other blogging sites? I've heard the Facebook site is active. IfI hadn't improved I would have checked out the earthclinic GD site, that is the site Kimass1 learned about cilantro as a treatment from fellow bloggers. As you have learned by now there is nothing more to be learned from the medical profession, this disease stumps them.
